· Car Rental: We strongly recommend NOT renting a car or truck to move around inside Sayulita; having a car would definitely make the difference if you are planning to move around beaches or areas in the bay like San Pancho town, Lo de Marcos or more… BUT, to move around inside Sayulita, it would be really hard to find parking downtown.

· Airport Taxi’s are very easy to find, they are safe and their rates are standard.

· Uber is not officially allowed inside Sayulita, and you would need to walk about 150 meters to get outside the airport; we don’t fully recommend it because it might be tricky & on your way back to the airport may be hard to find drivers.

· Schedule in advance: it’s not the least expensive option; but it is not too bad either; the driver can pick you up at the airport, take you to buy groceries on your way to Sayulita and even offer you some refreshments on your way here. And on your way back to the airport they would come and pick you up at your vacation rental with an arranged schedule… It is definitely the easiest way with not too much of a price difference. // Look at our recommended concierge service for it here.

· Golf Cart would be your best choice if you want to have fun while moving around town, parking downtown is still very limited but way better than a regular size car.

· Walking is always a very good choice, specially if your rental is on the flat lands; many rentals are located on a steep hill and can get really tired to go anywhere.

· Taxi’s are very easy to find in town’s plaza, all the rates are somewhat stablished; and all local taxis are from the same company (specially if moving inside town only).

· ATM’s Can be found around town and you would be able to withdrawal dollars or pesos (depending on each machine). BUT they will definitely charge you a fee for it and it is not cheap; additionally sometimes they lack of money inside and you would have to walk to another… And finally, their location are on the street with no privacy so it might feel sketchy .  

· USD in cash (paper) are well taken almost everywhere in Sayulita and surroundings but the exchange rate is not standard and many local business would use a very unfavorable rate to you.

· Credit or Debit Cards both are also welcome in many places but so many would charge you an additional percentage for its transaction. usually around a 5% extra.

· Exchange rates are VERY bad here in town.

· Mexican pesos in cash (paper) are the best for your money. And most rentals would have a small safe inside the bedroom.

       · San Pancho is the closest one, but we don’t recommend going there unless is a super minor thing or a super urgent thing when any minute counts.
       · Punta de Mita is within a midrange distance.
       · CMQ Bucerias is the fullest and best cost effective (45min from here).
